GÖC

The GÖC is first of all aimed at defending end-users, environment and safety on the workplace, especially when they involve absorbents for oil and chemicals. The group has many different objectives:

• to give information to end-users regarding the implementation of absorbents in safe conditions

• to give neutral advice to end-users

• to take part in the developement of selection criterias for absorbents for oil and chemicals

• to participate in the working-out and the watching of control systems and standards of quality for absorbents for oil and chemicals

• to improve quality checks

• to work on tasks of public interests like a more accurate segmentation according to the fields of use of the products

• to get in touch - and eventually take part in their works - with other European organizations who work on the same topics

• to give information to end-users about the selection criterias of absorbents

The members of this community are considering to stamp the approved products with its logo. The advantages for end-users would be that :

• the stamped absorbents would meet the latest criterias

• the members companies of the GÖC have been for many years reliable and regular partners for the end-users

• beyond the frame of their major topic, the members companies of the GÖC are committed to the protection of the environment, the workplace and the end-users of the products
